It's not a major update so it won't wipe anything..to be on the safe side though, there's no harm backing up.

I've had this issue recently. I managed to get it solved by full factory reset of phone and cleaning contacts of both Sim and battery.
I don't mean to sound like the idiot here, but why do people have the impression contacting 1st line HTC support is going to solve things?...Thats...
But if it can work on a Nexus 1 or a Nexus S, there is no reason why HTC shouldn't roll it out in some respect..Now that HTC would make sense ;)
Well I got mine factory based unbranded direct from HTC. I ain't got my update but i'm not worried at all, i'll get it when I get it :).
Who needs 2.3 when you get 3.0 eh ;)

I think we have to give HTC a good thumbs up with the recent update as battery performance has been much improved without having to look for mass...

Thats why I don't play games.
Only one problem with this...when your connection comes back on whether its wireless or mobile internet..everything has to sync..imagine syncing...
If its unlocked and unbranded it will be on
with kernel version
with android version
FYI..They don't "save" to HTC Sense, it syncs with your phones actions
I had that when I was reviewing my phone...You ain't put it in probably right perhaps?
There isn't really a must do..the whole point of Android is to make it to what tou want it to be.
