i would say that the 2 most popular ROMs at the moment are AOKP and LiquidSmooth. LeanKernel and Franco seem to be the top 2 kernels.
Codename is now at version 1.5.0 but hasn't been updated in 3 months and is still 4.0.3 based. Most of the major ROMs are now using a 4.0.4 base...

titanium backups will still be available after a wipe and ROM install. the data is stored on a separate internal partition. same goes for any...

to remove the included launcher, open titanium, select "Backup/Restore", find the launcher in the list, tap it, and select Un-Install.
Liquid Control -> Lockscreens -> uncheck the box for "Horizontal Lockscreen"
