I have experienced significant decrease in upload and download speeds since the updates. I had comparison speeds before and after the update....

The update did NOT give you version 4.0 of maps. It gave you 3.4.

Did you try Settings-->applications-->manage applications and look in there? Do you have the old Maps on your phone?
The update did not include 4.0. The update included version 3.4. Version 4.0 was released post update to include Buzz integration.
Compare to the Droid
Why is a big deal made out of the LED screen on these phones, stating how amazing it is, but it's ripped apart on the nexus...i.e. low pixel...
You're not on 3G data when you're on Wifi, nor are you on Edge data. You're on Wifi
Wouldn't be surprised if Apple restricted Yahoo from pushing to mobile devices other than the iphone.
