man, I have been wasting 3 bucks a month on visual voice mail, which didn't even work half the time with all the custom roms I am flashing....
I've read so many reports online that say you have to dial #*###**blahblahblah, get some phone ID thing from verizon, etc, etc. It seemed...
How is it working for you? How did you set it up?
Anyone else having this issue? Any thoughts on how to fix it?
oh, man, this dialer is SO MUCH BETTER than the shitty Sense dialer. game-changing.
ahh, found it! thanks so much.
I am rooted, and am running BAMF stripped. I thought that one was "sense-less."
I'll look at other ROMs. thanks!
How can I get that?
what dialer is that?
How does one find out what version of radio you have at the moment? I'm wondering if getting a new radio can help with my GPS locking issues.
awesome, thank you much. I'll do this tonight and report back!
thanks so much for your step-by-step guide. Really appreciate it.
One last thing: does Titanium back up Amazon App Store apps?
ugh. That'll teach me to make things easy for myself. :-)
I guess I'll just learn how to do this the hard way, to make sure I get the intended...
Why would that make a difference? Isn't it the same ROM?
Makes me feel like a sucker for paying for the pro version of ROM manager, then. I...
I feel your pain, OP. I went through this same surprise when I got my phone and found I couldn't play music via USB.
It's a real shame.
well, I actually did flash Bamf NTE 1.6.3, using Rom Manager. Rom Manager says that is my current rom, too.
I went with Das BAMF 1.6.3. I have some questions, though:
1. I still have a bunch of Verizon apps. VCast Apps, VCast Media, VZ Navigator....
Oh well, I still want to root. I'll just re-do all those levels. haha
Thanks for the info.
Apparently this is a bug with android:
Issue 6696 -...
thanks for the reply, but I guess I'm still a little confused. What personal data gets deleted? Just SMS/MMS, contacts, call history? Or does...
I'm about to take the plunge and root my phone, but I don't know how to back up application data before root (which will wipe data, right?).
thanks for the advice. I think I'll throw on the de-sensed BAMF 1.6.
well, I've kind of been waiting for a stable Cyanogen build to drop, but I might just take the plunge tonight.
How can I find out if a ROM is...
Question in the title! Thanks.
See, now *this* pisses me off. This isn't just hardware marching on, getting better with time...this is planned obsolescence.
