Replaced my 1st Droid after 5 days for lint, it is no longer naked. The lints get in through the speaker, so not much can be done to prevent it if...
Correct...it is already a zip file so just rename it UPDATE.
Works almost exactly as described i.e. power on by holding the X and the power button at the same time, "not" after turning the power on. :)
