I think it depends on the output of the wall wart.
Also USB 3 ports on PC deliver more charging current.
Probably mentioned before. All the crap on your phone that you don't need, don't want and can't get rid of without rooting.

In Canada my S3 shows LTE . not truly 4G but much faster than 3G. Does your phone show 4G or LTE....

If you have a home network and a smart tv, or semi smart tv (ethernet connection) you can stream from your phone. Nearby Devices setting.

I would say you've fallen victim to the infamous SD card destroying S3.
Isn't tethering a carrier issue. I have 4.3 and tethering works. Bell.
I find it gets the forecast wrong a lot.
Mostly limited time subscriptions. Useless.
My S3 with JB seems to have tethering.

Why would a router have ssids printed on the router. ssiids are set by the user.

I've had weird stuff happen to SD cards in...

I don't think all dual band routers allow giving each band a different SSID.
X2 for copy and paste from LastPass to the app.
I would bet that many people who did not disable apps had SD card failures in S3's.
