    Root [AT&T] rooting & unlocking

    does my phone need to remain rooted in order to keep it unlocked? Its currently on firmware 1.0, if I update it to 1.85 (which I understand blocks the root path and may cause an issue there) will it remove my current unlocked status or have any other issues?

    Root [AT&T] upgrading to 1.85 firmware

    Recently purchased a HTC One X unlocked (originally AT&T). currently waiting for it to come in, the seller sent me this message in regards to upgrading firmware. thoughts on whether I can/should upgrade or not?
