    Help wifi/phone signal VERY low

    Got a Samsung Admire r720 phone and noticed I have to be within 20 feet a a wifi source to get even a bare signal. So I activated it. I couldn't receive/make calls after activation and MetroPCS couldn't help me so I deactivated it. Downloaded many apps to boost signal and they didn't work...
