    Why don't more phones have a hard restart button?

    It's pretty shitty when my ipod freezes and I can easily restart it but my dinc freezes and I need to pull the case, cover, and battery. Is there a way to set up a hard restart button on a rooted phone?

    Root Night Vision Mode - Save 50% Battery?

    Surfaceflinger turns off all pixels except for certain colors on OLED displays. Turning on only the red display results in a MUCH increased battery life. Looks like something to be included as an option in new roms & such. Jeff Sharkey Android SurfaceFlinger tricks for fun and profit
