    Consider as noob rooting question!

    So i just bought my hero in hong kong and i am considering on rooting my phone inorder to hv apps install to my sdcard and the newb question is does rooting mean tat itll wipe out the original firmware bcuz i dont wanna wipe out the chinese input function....can anyone help me on this? Thanks

    question on GPS locator

    Do i have to turn on "wireless network" and "enable gps satellites" to locate my position? bcuz it seems if i just "enable gps satellites" it wont locate where i am. Is there anyway to solve this such as dl a app or is there something im doing wrong?! thank you
