    iphone to G1

    My friend currently has an iphone and wants to use my G1. He currently has a data plan with the iphone. Do i simply change the apn settigns and we are good to go? Or does the iphone internet plan only work with the iphone and changing the apn settings will not do anything for the g1? Thanks
