    Hey, remember me?

Cool! I have a few bikes... 8? I bought my wife a fat tire e-bike a couple of years ago. It's a blast in the snow. Now that the weather gets colder, it's time to get out the mtb. I also spent way too much on my indoor zwift setup.

    Hey, remember me?

And this site is kind of bland looking an a bit frustrating. Some video ad insert keeps appearing over the post button or something I might want to see. Not ideal.

    Hey, remember me?

Well, about 6 years ago I got back into cycling and lost over 100lbs. I joked that I lost 10 years Unfortunately, I can't keep doing that without disappearing. Staying on the bike except when I'm in a kayak. But I feel the machine breaking down.

    Hey, remember me?

I think the place was falling apart when I left. I left abruptly. I was pissed for good reason, but I didn't want to cause any drama. Time wounds all heal. How am I? OLD! How's everyone (that's left, which seems few).

    Why did Radio Shack fail?

Just went into the local radio shack, haven't been in there in years. Needed an audio cable. Checked the wed site first, $6. A bit high, but it's local. In store? $12 and this is generic find for a buck on ebay quality, not name brand!! Ethernet cables, I'm short a couple. Can buy online...

    Just got mine

Maybe the best $20 I ever spent. I've seen some reviews saying it's laggy compared to the full size Fire TV. I've never use one of those, but this thing is easily the equal of my Roku 3 in my casual use. The app takes a little getting used to though. I find it counterintuitive to press and...

Player vs Fire TV vs Roku 3

I have a Roku 3 and am in the market for a second streaming box. The prices are similar SO what would/should get me to choose the Player over the other two. One glaring omission with the Nexus Player is no Amazon Prime access. Though understandable that Amazon might not want to support the...

    Help Keyboard...go away

Not a major issue, but the LG keyboard keeps resetting as default even though I prefer and set Swiftkey as default. This happens randomly from time to time, I go to use the keyboard and it's not Swiftkey anymore. The check box for the LG keyboard is grayed out, so there's no way to deactivate...

    IR blaster anyone?

So, I was just playing with quick remote for the first time. Not very impressed. I found my TV and got it working, but you need to point almost laser pointer precise at the devices IR receiver for it to work. So far, I have been u able to get a learned code to work at all. Not for a TiVo or a...

    Help Dialer BT switch

Got my Note 2 (via ebay) on Friday and so far so good. One issue that cropped up was with the dialer. On my (wife's) LTEvo, when in a call there's a button on the dialer screen that allows an easy swap between bt and the phone. I'm guessing this is a Sense feature as I can't find it on the...

Is this something that causes brain tumors?

Got home from work yesterday and received a panic call from a close family friend that they had a virus on their computer and could I help. Like many here, I fill the MIS needs of many of my less computer literate friends and family. These friends in particular were there for us when we need...

Why I dine local, don't use Yelp and can't find decent Ethiopian food or black coffee in paris!

Well, at least one of the reasons... I've taken on the philosophy to avoid chain restaurants whenever possible (I do have young kids, so some visits are inevitable) and dine at local owned establishments. This underlines why I do it.- We recently traveled from Tampa airport. When we...

    There be blizzard comming

Many on the east coast (myself included) are facing a serious snow storm, some in the New England area are going to be pounded. I hope everyone here stays safe and warm. Many of us were hit hard by Sandy not long ago (yours truly), so this storm brings an extra load of anxiety. Stay of the...

I have young kids, so we're staying home once again. A bag of chips, some champagne and sparking apple juice for the kids. Not complaining mind you, I'm kind of glad to have the pressure of having the perfect NYE experience behind me. My wife still wants to go to Times Square. I still say...

Rogue radio station disables key fobs
