    Ok...I rooted my Droid using Super One Click...worked like a charm. I now have installed: ROM Manager Clockworkmod Recovery Titanium backup Busybox SetCPU Now if I understand correctly....ROM manager installs new ROM's...which are basically from my understanding like flashing a new OS...

    Root Explain please!!

    I have an older droid, the one with both keyboards....anyways, I have 2.1-update 1 on my phone...can I root it? If so, how? And what is a ROM? All this is new to me, I just know I want a better, faster phone....someone with patients for newbs please help me!!
