    Root root question

    so im getting my droidx in a few days. this will be my first android ever and had never heard of rooting until researching this phone. for right now all i am interested in doing is getting wifi tethering and run a few apps that need root. what would be the best root procedure to use for this...

    yep a noob!

    yeah new to all of this. still haven't got my droid x yet but its ordered. just trying to figure out if i want to root it or not. the wifi tether would be really nice. just want to be able to use the dx to its full potential.
