Root A2SD+ clarification - used ROM manager

So... I partitioned my SD card using ROM manager. ext: 512, swap: 0 But it did *not* give me an option to choose between ext2/ext3. If I'm not mistaken FroYo needs ext3..? (Dunno Linux, sorry!) Coming back... So - it erased everything, but my question is how do I know that partition...

Root Unroot using Unrevoked 3.21 - clarification

Read up on some earlier posts which spoke about removing (un-installing) a couple of apps - which come as a result of running Unrevoked - and rebooting the device. Result -> back to un-rooted device. I assume this applies to an older version of Unrevoked. I used Unrevoked 3.21. It rooted...

I reside in Bahrain, where mobile phones are not network locked, i.e. unbranded. OTA update to Froyo isn't available, and so I figured I'd go about this manually. For an unbranded device, I am getting Error 131 - customer ID error. My current ROM, btw, is...

Went to purchase a Desire but...

Yeah, well... It started with the idea of purchasing an E72, having already ruled out the Berries and the Apples. Set me sights on the Nexus One, only to find the Desire a lot more inviting. Did my research too, in the meanwhile (comparing the iPhone 4, Galaxy S, Legend, X10 et al -...
