USB charging port cover broke off - Anyone else?

The watertight cover for the charging port broke off my S5 last week. Anyone else? I was opening the door to charge the phone and the silver door just snapped near where the black hinge part fastens. I figured this would happen eventually but did not expect it to happen in less than a year...

When using Google Navigation on my Verizon Samsung S4, I often turn off the screen to reduce the drain on the battery. Upon turning the screen back on, I am prompted with "Are you sure you want to exit navigation?" I am given the choice of "Cancel" or"Yes, exit." Anyone else experience this...

How does Chromecast device communicate with the app without the WiFi password?

Just curious and a little surprised no one asked. What tech is used for the app to see the Chomecast device when the new device doesn't know your WiFi password? There's a brief message that your home network may be unavailable for a brief period so I guess there's some layer of communication...

Install in an HDMI port of Receiver

I checked the online support for Chromecast and there is no mention of the ability to install the device in a Receiver/Amplifier. All devices run through my receiver which is my switcher to play all audio and route the appropriate video to my TV. I believe this will be common for many since TV...

    Signal strength?

Chromecast is a small device so I'm not surprised it contains a small wireless antenna. However, my netbook and phone receive full bars of wireless signal near the TV. The Chromecast is lucky to receive one bar and the signal is insufficient. Anyone else experiencing this? Any tips...

Anyone else having recent stability issues with their Incredible 4G? I am having to reboot my phone every 2 to 3 days because it becomes sluggish or is unable to place calls. This started about 10 days ago in early May. In this forum I previously raved about how my Inc 4G could go for weeks...

Here's a quick report of my experience with traveling with the HTC Incredible 4G outside of the USA to New Zealand and Australia. I opted to keep the phone in airplane mode while in New Zealand. Help Nexus 7 How To thread

Anyone know how to read .mobi eBook files on the N7? While the Kindle Android app can read .mobi files, you are required to put the files directly in the Kindle folder for them to be seen. Apparently this is not possible with the way the Nexus 7 mounts because I'm unable to find a Kindle...

Silk browser: data center in your pocket?

I'm curious how other Android fans envision the ultimate outcome of Amazon's Silk browser? I see it as mainly a new variation of Google's strategy for Android. Android already excels against Apple when it comes to harnessing the power of Google's data centers (think speech recognition and...
