for some reason, I have yet to understand - I suspect an app update that isn't jiving with the Desire ROM I had installed and running great until yesterday... my Nexus basically just kept bricking (as of yesterday)... even a nand backup from a couple weeks back when everything ran smooth isn't...
Looks like the Nexus car dock is now available... $55... tempting...

Installed the MoDaCo Desire ROM this morning... looks pretty sweet I must say, despite my apprehension... Loaded up pretty much problem free, except for the APNs not being loaded...
Buuut... luckily I download the APN backup up before doing the whole unlock/wipe/new ROM, as well as the app...
anyone care to post the windows usb driver... can't effing install it... the url in the androidsdk app (sdksetup.exe) won't work... dunno if because of my work network, or because i'm on a 64-bit XP machine... in any case.... can't find the USB driver ANYWHERE.... other than through SDK...
Thinking of ditching the Nexus in anticipation for the EVO 4G and getting a Sprint HTC Hero in the interim, but buying it used so I can get a contract-free Sprint plan...

Yeah, the display looks good, but anyone can see the small pixelation that isnt' there on the Moto Droid... now we know why...
Frankly, I feel pretty dissappointed about this, if not cheated in a way... It's bad enough to have p!$$ poor readility in the outdoor sunlight with the Amoled...
The Facebook downright sucks. It's a poor implementation... often get errors when trying to post a comment. And having pics and notification links just link you to the web version is quite lame.
WHEN can we expect a refresh of the Facebook app??? :mad:
Ok - I normally get decent signal, and the 3G coverage in my area is pretty good if not excellent.
But for f**k sakes.... the whole hand covering the bottom and dropping the signal like 4 bars is a REAL pain... and serious issue... it's normally that bad, except at my work - where I'm in some...
any new ROMs out yet that have unlocked the fm radio on our Nexus Ones? does anyone know (who has tried) the Desire ROM, if the fm radio works? keep in mind, you need a headset plugged in to act as the antenna...

I don't know if this is a local issue - i'm in the Oakland Country area of Detroit (Troy). T-Mobile (US) cell data is down on my Nexus. No 3G, no Edge, not even GPRS.
Anyone else??? :confused:
