    Maybe I'm missing something here but after all the guides I've read I can't seem to figure out why if I'm on 2.2.2 with custom recovery why you have to downgrade first. Can someone enlighten me?

    So I recently got the sidekick 4g and had to get a replacement sent. I have everything the way i like and don't want to do it over. So is there a way to backup everything incl personal setting app data etc?
