The tablet it'self is initially impressive. The textured back gives a nice grippy feel and overall impressions are that it's a good value-for-money tablet.

Far away from the Hi-Tech laptop and iPad section in the UK retailer Comet, I found this ..
An Asus Transformer Honeycomb tablet.
It was hidden away in amongst the dictaphones and car-chargers
I guess Comet are iPad fans.:eek:
I've been trying for days now, but the Google Checkout says....
Is this just me?
( Try this ....)
1. Log in to your account
2. Click on "View Data Stored with this account"

So far it's absolutely gorgeous and Honeycomb is excellent.
The build is very high standard. The brown back is lovely.
Can't really fault much....
One of the Apps, MyNet is not in english, with no option to change it. No major issue, but "Musica | Fotografias | Videos" Maybe a bit...
I have two wifi access points in my house, due to thick walls.
When I turn on my phone it searches and connects to the first access point it finds, which is not necessarily the one with the strongest signal.
e.g.
I have one access point on channel 10 (lounge) and another on channel 1...
Just how bad is Flash on Android?
I know it's early days as far as flash is concerned, but is this what I should expect when I eventually upgrade to 2.2 on my Dell Streak?
What about non-video flash? Any good?
I have a Dell Streak, about to lose my arrows keys in version 2.1 when it's released.
I have man-sized sausage fingers and need arrow keys in order to position the cursor.
Any 3rd party keyboard have this feature?
In the 2.1 update which is due next month, the keyboard has been changed so that the cursor keys are no longer there.
As we don't have a trackball (Like my old G1), or hardware cursor keys (like my old Milestone) this is going to make editing text a real pain. My fingers are not to size of a...
I hardly ever use the pinch to zoom on my Nexus or Milestone, preferring to double click to zoom in and out as this reformatted the screen nicely too.
Now I have the Streak I miss this feature more than any other.
Does anyone have any link to a press release from Dell about Froyo?
If I search for an app that has quite a few results, for example "calendar" there maybe quite a number of results. If I click on one of them and then back again to the list of apps, it only shows whats on the screen. i.e it wont let me scroll down through the list. If I search again it only...
Does anyone notice a difference yet? What resources does it use up?
Any benchmarks?
Is Jobs right? Is flash OK on a mobile device, or is it not really suitable?
When I check for updates it always fails to reach the server.
Is the update server blocked with the hosts file or something?

You lose the ability to zoom in. Just like ie6, where you cannot zoom in on websites designed around pixels.
This is really bad for me, and I presume others who have poor eyesight.
