    Root NewbieQ:How to backup before unlocking bootloader?

    My goal is to install Cyanogenmod, so as recommended on their wiki I installed Titanium and Astro. Unfortunately, Titanium requires the phone to be rooted, which in turn requires the bootloader to be unlocked, which wipes the phone - seem to defeat the purpose. Am I completely out of luck...
