Got the Jelly Bean update from Verizon yesterday and I was just expecting things to be a lot more snappier and quicker than ICS. When I had my Galaxy Note I was running CM9 and later CM10 and there was noticeable differences between ICS and JB. Folders would expand and disappear much snappier...
The G-Note was fun while it lasted but I recently switched over to the GS3. Primarily because AT&T coverage in my area is not the best and we are consolidating accounts and my wife was already on VZ. At first I switched to the Razr Maxx HD for a week. Battery life on it was awesome! Would be...
Was wondering if anyone knows of an app that will allow you to backup the layout of your home screens and then restore them. It's a pain in the butt to set everything back up after flashing a new ROM.
Titanium Backup definitely helps in restoring the apps and their data but it would be...
Just wondering if anyone has been brave enough to put jb on their note yet? I saw a video of it on pocket now, wasn't as smooth as jb on the gs3 but was still smoother than ics. would love to hear how it functions as a daily driver.
I have this nagging feeling that I'm not getting all I can out of my Galaxy Note. So I was wondering, what are some of the coolest things you guys are doing with your Note? Thanks for your input!
I only get sound out of one ear whenever I'm using the headphone jack. If I use my bluetooth headphones I get sound out of both ears but not through the jack.
Took it in to the AT&T store and they tried using an air can to remove any lint etc but problem persisted.
She notated my account...
What's the easiest and most hassle free way you guys have found to watch movies on your big screen TV via the Galaxy Note i.e. movies that you have either ripped from DVD and saved to your Note or rented from Google Play on your Note?
A good friend of mine just sent me an email with the links below. Hope we hear some sweet ICS news tomorrow!

So I'm just a few days shy of my 1 month anniversary and thought that I would share my experience so far with the Galaxy Note. To sum it up in a nutshell
Has anyone else noticed slight problems when unlocking the phone? Sometimes i have to swipe 2 or 3 times before it registers. Not a big deal but noticeable.
So to all you guys who have been using the Note for awhile now, how is the experience of using it with one hand? Can you still swype with no problems or have you found it difficult to maneuver all of that screen real estate? Thanks for the feedback!
Ok totally new to this root stuff. I have an Evo 4g, I rooted it and I can see the superuser app.
I did the backup using revolutionary.
I then did a factory reset.
I thought I installed a custom rom using "install zip" from revolutionary
rebooted phone
went thru the entire google setup...
Man I hope Verizon picks up the LTE Note, how sweet would that be!
"Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy Note LTE, the version of its pen-enabled 5.3-inch Android smartphone packing 4G connectivity. Initially expected to go on sale in South Korea, a Verizon launch in the US is not...
Looks like manufacturers are jumping on the 5" bandwagon. No specs yet on the lenovo handset but it looks promising.

Just dreaming out loud here guys but wouldn't it be neat if Samsung decided to release a Galaxy Note in the U.S. with no capacitive buttons since ICS takes care of all that?
That could possibly bump the screen size up to what maybe 5.5" or so? Or I would be satisified with leaving it at...
Stopped by Best Buy on the way home today and just happened to notice that they have the Samsung Galaxy S Wifi 5.0 out on display. It's super close to the size of the Galaxy Note so it was nice to get a real good idea of what the Note would feel like in hand.
It is a bit thicker than the...
