    Root If my Desire HD is rooted, can i download an update directly on my phone to unroot it ?

    please i need help, i bought a phone and it is rooted to the ics but i want it back on gingerbread :( can i just download the update and it will unroot everything will go back to stock ? please im new as my name states haha
