    upgrading Rom Help needed

    I have a Maxwest Telecom Android-3600 that currently has android 2.2 It's a Media Tech 6516 460Mhz processor. I was told it has the bare-bones Google Android OS and can be upgraded. Can anyone tell me Where I can download a Generic android 2.3 or higher from and how would I go about Flashing it?
