    An app called Permissions Manager allows denying keep awake permission for Google Play Services (or any other app for that matter) without root. I had been uninstalling updates to Youtube, Google, Gmail et al since the problem started. A major PITA. This app seems to have fixed it.I have 49%...

    Update on update.

    HTC Software Updates | HTC United States I used to customize the bejeezus out of my Triumph, not feeling the need with the Desire. The selling point was the kitkat update promised first quarter 2014, and it looks like they're keeping their word!
