I used root tool kit to unlock my bootloader and root my Nexus 7 Gen 1. Since then using TWRP I've attempted to Flash Franco Kernal and also Paranoidandroid, before each flashing I deleted dalvik cache and cache partition. 4 different times this has resulted in getting stuck in a boot loop and...
Using TWRP I just installed the Franco Kernal on my Nexus 7 1st Gen. After clicking on reboot in TWRP my tablet has remained stuck on the boot animation screen for about 15 minutes. Probably more like 20 now.
What can I do?
By the way I did a backup via TWRP, before I installed Franco Kernal...
Okay I used SuperSu's unroot function so my phone is "unrooted", but now every time I attempt to do the latest OTA verizon update the phone goes into TWRP.
So can I use the directions on the following How to Unroot Samsung Galaxy S3! [No Computer] [AT&T/T-Mobile/Verizon] ~ Android Rootz |...
I read somewhere that the regular methods for rooting like the two methods shown in the sticky in this Forum will not work, because Verizon has blocked that kind of rooting in their Official Jelly Bean release. Is this true?
I read about doing it differently, but the process feels more...
I have been having over heating issues causing my phone to stop working. I decided to return it to factory Verizon GS3 rom and see about making a warranty claim.
I followed the directions found here CreadevAndroid – Restore Samsung Galaxy S3 to Stock Factory Settings, Unbrick, Unroot...
Well at this point I'm really frustrated, but I'm beginning to think there could be a hardware issue causing my phone to overheat and crash and that I need to return it to stock and then make a warranty claim with Verizon.
So how the &^%I* do I return this phone back stock from being rooted...
For some reason when I run any of the Titanium Backup Pro on my Verizon GS3 the GS3 gets really hot and shuts down. Rather than trying to figure out the cause I'm just wondering if there is an alternative that is just as good that won't do that and is just as simple to use.
Secondly Clockwork...
Does anyone know what is up? I have the premium version on ROM Manager and tonight I was informed there is an update. However, now its telling me that Verizon GS3 is unsupported.
Is anyone else getting this message?
Well I've not found anyone talking much about the Synergy Jelly Bean version. I've decided to try mind hand at sharing from my very limited experience and knowledge.
Unless I don't understand what I'm seeing when I read the descriptions of other roms, but I believe the developers of Synergy...
Synergy Rom has a new upgrade as of this morning. However, even though I back and restore all my apps I find I end up having to go through a lot of set up of some apps all over again every time I update.
One thing I don't have is a bunch of time, especially since I when I first started rooting...
I have a small online business that I am trying to grow. As a result I am learning to use Social Media marketing and customer relationship building. In that effort I've been researching phone and online app combos to manage social media. Since I'm on a budget I decided to go with "Seesmic Pro"...
Ever since I loaded SynergyRom my phone more often than not won't connect to Wifi without trying to force to do so one time after another. Before when I was completely stock or even after CleanRom was installed I had no issues. Matter of fact it would just connect on its own immediately when I...
Well I checked out the suggested threads and if any of them answered my issue I didn't understand it.
I work from my car a great deal of the time as I have a business that has me on the road several hours a day. As a result I use a Voice Dialer via my bluetooth headset regularly while...
I was trying to launch Google Now by holding down the menu button as I believe that is what it said to do somewhere her on the forum. However, when I did that a message came up I think saying move/remove and my finger twitched and hit remove. Now I have no menu button.
How do I get the menu...
I followed galaxis3root.com's procedure to root my new Verizon GSIII. He has a ROM for noobs that keeps the OEM in tact that I think I'd like to install. However, I've found no real step by step directions for installing the ROM. Here is a link to the ROM. I think since I'm total noob with...
I'd guess I'm old compared to most of you all here near 50. I just got my first Droid and I decided to go with the Samsung Galaxy S III. I understand from some of the younger guys at work that its something to be envious of. I wouldn't know, but I do enjoy watching them drool.:smokingsomb...
