Does Verizon still offer cell phone plans like the plans before mobile share plans were introduced. I have looked for the old plans on Verizon's web site but I couldn't find anything. If they do offer the old plans are the prices the same $39.99 for the cheapest line and $30 for 2GB of data?[
I use Zagg HD screen protectors and I have been happy but I want to make sure that I am not missing a screen protector that is better. If you have used a better brand let me know.
I am interested to see how the arrival of the iPhone 5 has affected the speed of the LTE network. If you have before and after numbers please post. Also is anyone experiencing network problems with the increased LTE users?
Whose LTE network will be crippled the most with an LTE iPhone AT&T or Verizon? The reason I ask this is, even though it is an Android forum, a large number of members have LTE phones and will be affected by this. I would like to hear peoples' professional responses, not AT&T/Verizon sucks...
It looks like some of the Verizon users are reporting trouble with signal/reception, is anyone who has a AT&T version having similar difficulties or is it a CDMA/LTE issue?
I found an interesting article about radios and LTE connections. The Radio Performance Disparity of the Galaxy Nexus on GSM and CDMA - Mobile Central - Binary Outcast
I have the oppurtunity to either go with ATT or Verizon. The article makes it seems that GSM is a better bet for LTE phones...
A couple people have reported that they are getting LTE with AT&T in Buffalo NY. Anyone in ese forums getting lte with AT&T in Buffalo Ny? If so what parts of the area? I am in the south towns and hope it arrives here soon too.
If I were to buy a xoom and a data plan such as 1 gb for $20 a month could I switch the data plan over to a smart phone, ie could I just switch the data plan to an incredible and just receive data for the incredible and not use it as a phone, but just for data like a mini tablet?
Here is a new hands on from Mobile Crunch. Nothing new but there are some new pictures of the Captivate:
Hands-on with the Samsung Galaxy S Captivate for AT&T
Let the debate begin. I have never been too fond of how calls sound from a Motorola phone. I have never owned a Samsung so I can't compare the two. I like the size of the Droid X but I think it will be too narrow. Plus I will save a lot of money by having 3 lines on AT&T instead of 2 lines on...
Interested in Sprint with their great prices, but one of the locations where I work is roaming. Is roaming a deal breaker? How slow is roaming on Sprint for data? Does roaming affect call quality? I don't want to go through the hassle of buying and returning a sprint phone, there is only a Radio...
