    Default MP3 player in lock screen

    Does anyone know how to enable controls for the default mp3 player (running android 4.1.1 jelly bean) in the lock screen? I don't want to use an alternative player if possible. My audio book app is showing controls, so i guess it must be possible for other apps (maybe using a plugin) as well :)
