I'm currently using an AT&T Pay As You Go plan where I buy blocks of time for both voice and data. But AT&T's signal is horrible where I live.
Does Verizon have a plan like this? I have an unlocked Nexus One.
To reiterate, I want to pay for a block of minutes. I do not want a plan with an...
GV was working well for me for several months. But in the last month, most of the GV calls that I've made have not gone through. I use it mostly from the desktop and when I start a call my phone usually does not ring.
Since getting the N1 it has always felt slow in connecting to WiFi. I recently got an iPad and it is much faster in connecting, which makes the N1 seem even slower now.
Mine usually takes about 8 seconds and sometimes up to 30 seconds. The iPad connects in 2 seconds.
How long does your N1 take...
On the iPhone you can double press the home button from the desktop or within any app and it will bring up a small popup for music player. Does Android have a feature like that?
I have an app on my iPad that lets me assign different actions to buttons and gestures. I have it set up to toggle wifi when I swipe the notification bar from left to right.
I've tried several methods on the Android but haven't found one yet that is as quick as a swipe.
Now that Amazon has announced a WiFi only Kindle for $140 I am tempted to get one.
I don't like reading books on the computer or a smart phone screen.
I have seen a Kindle so I don't know if I'll find the E Ink much better.
Anyone here have a Kindle? How do you like it?
Is it possible to stop Astrid from syncing with RTM every time I check off a task as completed? I don't have a constant Internet connection and it keeps giving me a dialog window every time it can't sync.
I currently use Got To Do. I picked it because it was similar to the app I really liked on the iPod Touch. But Got To Do doesn't work nearly as well. The buttons are small and hard to activate and some fields are also hard to edit.
So I'm looking for suggestions on another app that meets the...
Is there a way to pause a song in Music, go to another app and then return to Music and still be in the song that was paused? When I return to Music it goes to the playlist.
When I have data turned off on the phone, at the top of the notification area it says "Emergency calls only". I don't have any problem making calls so I don't understand why it says this.
I switched from Gmail to Fastmail a few years ago. Now I have a Nexus One and am wondering if there is a way to keep Fastmail and Gmail contacts in sync.
I find it almost impossible to delete dates/times in a task in Got To Do. I keep pressing the X button over and over and it almost never works.
I don't know if it is because the button is too small or too close to the right hand edge or perhaps an issue with the N1.
I've been using the N1 for a couple days without a SIM card. Now I have a SIM and I can't get the cover off.
I did some searching and found different suggestions but none of them are working for me.
I'll be in London, Ontario for two weeks next month. Is it possible to get data service for my trip? I'm currently using AT&T Pay As You Go which does not work in Canada.
I'm interested in getting the N1 without a contract. I would use it mainly with wifi and some light voice and paid data.
Is there a prepaid option that includes voice & data?
