    New User looking for info

    Hello everyone. My name is gavin. I had a mytouch 3g and I had it rooted on the 1.5 os. Now I have a droid eris and it already has 2.1 I am looking to root it, but everywhere I looked, it says I need to have 1.5 first. Am I SOL? Or is there a way to root my 2.1 Eris? Please help!!!
