I'm considering switching to an Android device after using Windows Mobile for years and years... the new Droid from Verizon really looks impressive and I'm not real high on some of the new Windows Mobile devices coming out.
One of my needs though will be to read, edit, and save 2007 Office...
I've heard rumors that the Driod's keyboard layout is not necessarily finalized. I've heard at least one rumor that the directional pad might end up on the left side of the keyboard, which would be a great layout for gaming (emulations and such). Anyone know if there is any truth to this rumor?
So I'm considering the move to android from a windows mobile phone. Where can I see a list of what apps are available? Looking online in the Android market place shows only a handful of apps.
Specially I'm wondering about office applications... I'd also like to be able to sync my documents...
So I'm seriously considering this phone even though I've been a dedicated Windows Mobile user for years dating back to my old HP Jornada.
I need to do more research first... like finding what apps are actually out there for the Android. But one biggie for me will be if this thing has bluetooth...
