    Powering off N5 from lock screen.

    Is it just me or when on the lock screen, before I enter my pattern to unlock, I hold down the sleep button and turn the phone off! This kind of makes Android device manager useless, as if anyone steals phone, they can just turn it off straight away, so that it cannot be traced.

    Currently running my N5 stock, and trying to keep it this way as much as possible. I am using the default SMS app (hangouts). Is there any way to display unread SMS messages in the lock screen without installing a different SMS client?
