I don't think there will be any mainstream phones larger than the Galaxy S3. There will still be niche products like the Note, but generally, phones aren't getting much bigger. Now that all the big OEMs have large high end phones, the best way to get more customers for high end phones is to...
I recently tried the new Nexus and found it fine to hold, but way too big with a case. I was was wondering how many people would like a smaller 4" high end phone?
Really liked how the phone fit in my hand, but it just felt huge with the case they had in the Verizon store. I am sure there will be thinner cases, but how much drop protection will it give.
One of the major advantages to Android is that manufacturers can make any size phone they want. Where are all the high end 4" phones and I don't mean pentile matrix phones like the Atrix. I really like using one hand to operate my phone and there is no way I will be able to on a Galaxy Nexus...
Order and Chaos is a WoW clone (very good one too except no instances yet) that just came out from gameloft, but the incredible is not supported. Is there any way to get it working? Editing build.prop line from ro.product.model=ADR6300 to ADR6350 perhaps? ADR6350 is the inredible 2 which is...
I found this for the Galaxy S and wondered if there was something simmilar for the Charge? Thanks!
Color, Super AMOLED color and sharpness optimizations | Project Voodoo, Galaxy S improvements
The charge has a blue color cast when the screen is white (like a webpage background). Is there anyway to change the color temperature to make it more white and less blue?
Well, after dropping my near indestructible OG doid for the 50th time, it finally broke. I checked out the Thunderbolt and Charge, but wasnt that impressed with them considering I would have one of them for two years. I bought a 1 month old used incredible on craigslist and I could not be...
I was in a Verizon store last weekend and played with the Thunderbolt and Charge for an hour. It didn't seem that web pages THAT much faster. Is this because ping delay is just as important in loading a website? I am sure that LTE is great for downloading large files or streaming video...
The browser seems to have a lot of problems--not sure about how Dolphin-would run, but here is a simple workaround. You have to turn off javascript--which kinda sucks--but hopefully a rooted ROM will fix that.
YouTube - DROID Charge: Make The Web Browser Faster [FIX]
The end of one year contracts puts me in a big dilemma. My droid works but the screen is cracked and I want a new phone. Do I:
1. Get a Thunderbolt for $320 on a one year contract and sell it in 10 months for a more powerful phone. Downside: I really would like a phone with a super amoled+...
When Verizon released the Droid a year and a half ago it looked like Verizon had changed its ways. No longer were Verizon customers the absolute last ones to get the latest phones. But just as I was starting to have some faith in Verizon management, they dissapoint again.
Today it appears...
Sorry if this has been posted already.
How to toggle LTE on your thunderbolt (the hard way)
This solution will allow you to toggle LTE because those if us with LTE are experiencing horrible battery life. This method will allow you to turn off LTE use and scanning which has increased my battery...
The text with the pentile screen looked a lot more pixelated than on my Droid 1. Granted the screen is .3 inches smaller on the Droid, but the Atrix pixel density is still higher
Checked out the Atrix, captivate, and Thunderbolt today. All the screens had text that looks pixelated. Even the higher rez Atrix due to its pentile matrix. They were all also less bright. I guess that is the benefit of a smaller screen.
Sure it has a cripser screen than the Fascinate 1 and has 4g, but the Stealth has no dual core cpu and is not nearly as thin as the Galaxy S2. Verizon should forget about the Stealth and just give us a Fascinate 2.
Why not give us the sleeker lighter more powerful S2. It's out in Europe why not a Fascinate 2 on Verizon. Samsung is competing with the dual core Bionic with a single core phone. Stupid.
