    Help Preventing Apps from Starting Themselves?

    I did an OS update this am and since doing so, I've noticed that all the apps are starting on their own. I'll run task killer to stop them. However, when I check my phone 5 mins later, another 6 have started. What's the best way to prevent apps from starting on their own? Thanks!
