    Help with location services

    I have a pay as you go mobile which I also use as a satnav . I´ve noticed that my credit keeps vanishing even tho´ I have mobile data switched off . Checking with my network provider , I was told to swith off " Location " as that uses my sim card if no wifi avaiable . Is this correct ? If so...
