    Cleaning the earpiece.

    My earpiece was very dirty, (looked dusty, or from wax even too) and so I started celaning it out with a toothpick, and noticed that I could see silver where it is usually all black. Is this just a result of me scraping away at the earpiece to clean it? Thanks,
