I would like to import this phone to use on Straight Talk (AT&T). Will it cover all the bands AT&T uses in the US?

BT tething to iPhone 4s using MiWi?

I have an iPhone 4s on Verizon and a Galaxy Note on Straight Talk. I am unable to get a 3G or 4G signal at my office on my Galaxy Note so am forced to tether it to my iPhone 4s on Verizon. My iPhone is jailbroken and I am using MyWi. I prefer to use BT tethering because it takes hardly any power...

Help Strategy for Galaxy Note AT&T (coming from Verizon)?

I will be moving from Verizon to AT&T and buying an unlocked Galaxy Note from Amazon. I need some tips on what kind of strategy I need to take. I don't have a sim card--what's the cheapest way of getting one? Will I have to sign a two-year contract or can I go month to month since I'm...

Accessories I want a enclosed hard belt pouch

I'm looking for a belt pouch that's made of hard plastic or aluminum (or titanium :)) so if I bang up against something the DX is not going to be damaged. I supposed it doesn't have to specific to the Droid X. I'd like to pouch to fix horizontally on my belt. Does such a thing exist? I've...

Galaxy S OEM Accessories in the U.S.?

I can't find any OEM accessories in the U.S. for the GS. Even T-Mobile doesn't have a home or car dock. I can't find anything on the samsung.com either. Do you think they are just waiting for it to be released? I know Motorola supports accessories pretty well. HTC doesn't seem to so I hope...

Galaxy S will by Samsung Fascinate on Verizon

Verizon announced the Samsung Fascinate today. It is the their version of the Galaxy S but with an LED flash. It comes with 2.1 so no BT voice dialing and no word on if/when Froyo will be available. Droid X does have voice dialing on 2.1. I want this phone but I want 2.2 more. No release date...

What will be the first phone with native 2.2 (not upgraded from 2.1) without a keyboard?

    Consider this scenario

Consider the scenario: Verizon or any other carrier came out with a phone with 2.2. Then the same carrier came out with the Samsung Galaxy S with 2.1. I wonder how much that would hurt the sales of the Samsung.

The Shadow and Droid 2 are both in Verizon's inventory system so it's getting closer. No release date is specified.

Mods: How about a thread for the Motorolo Shadow?

How about a dedicated thread for the Motorola Shadow? There seems to be enough evidence of its existence for it to have its own thread now.

    Help Verizon?

Samsung sure is being tight lipped about carriers. I am having my doubts on whether Verizon will be getting this phone, but if they do, they won't be one of the first. They probably have some sort of agreement with HTC to let the Incredible be the top dog for a period of time.

2.1, WiFi "not in range, remembered"

My home wireless network has always worked with my Eris until I updated to 2.1. I can get it to connect once, but after a few minutes, it disconnects and when I go into the wireless settings, I see the status as "not in range, remembered" even though I'm right next to my wireless router. Any ideas?

Help Does it do BT voice dialing?

OK, it look great, but I still need a good phone. Does it do BT voice dialing or is still in the Dark Ages when it comes to BT voice dialing like the other Android phones?
