    Root ota gingerbread 2.3.3 problem

    ok heres my problem i did the ota gb upgrade and i want to go back to 2.2 so i can root and get a custom rom so i tried the ruu 3.70..... and i get a error message that says " BOOTLOADER VERSON ERROR " so i was wandering if anybody has had this problem and is there a fix for it?
