    Ok, this worked for me as of 10/20/10, i had my phone rooted by unrevoked, I am like many of the people here who kept having issues with all the PC36IMG.zip not working. I have extracted a new PC36IMG.zip from the ruu's and have not had any issues. I also had the dreaded "main version is older"...

    Hello everyone, im surprised that it has taken me this long to join up on this board. I have been a member of XDA since i bought my first android phone the g1. I have since moved on to bigger and yes bigger and better things lol, i picked up the htc evo last week, and absolutely love the phone...
