    Root HTC_IME keyboard with voice input

    I took the HTC_IME keyboard with voice input from the leaked myTouch Slide ROM and to my surprise it worked on the Eris.     Root 2.1 leak has been rooted

    YouTube - Droid 2.1 Eris Root This isn't an April Fools joke. It's really been rooted. As of right now the creator refuses to release it because too many people bugged him about it. He just wanted to prove that it could be done and now he's quitting. Hopefully he'll change his mind.
