    Unlocked Hero on Vodafone Australia - how will I get update?

    No carriers picked up the Hero in Australia so I ourchased one from overseas unlocked. I am on a Vodafone plan. Will OS updates still appear in the notification bar or will I need to check manually. if I do need to check manually, will it be through HTC or Vodafone?
