    SMS notification light settings?

    When my galaxy s3 is off and I get a text message I noticed that it turns my phone on and lights up the home screen. But it is only on for about 2 seconds. Not nearly fast enough for me to be able to catch it. Is there anyway in settings to have it stay on for a longer?
