When the phone rings, it "fades in" until it reaches the set volume. Is there a way to set it so that it rings at full volume from the instant the call is connected?
I upgraded to the Droid Turbo a couple months back and wasn't offered the Edge plan by the Verizon sales rep (walk in store). My wife is on my plan and is also eligible for an upgrade (we both used the Razr M previously) but she wanted to research the newer phones herself and in doing so has...

Can't seem to find the magic solution for this. I have 300+ contacts and have cleaned up the duplicates but what I'm looking for is a sort of "fast edit" way to select multiple contacts from the overall list and then delete them all with one click. Is there anything onboard the phone (or any...
Anyone else having this problem with text attachments? Not sure what the deal is, I have it set to delete old messages when limit is reached so I don't think it's a space issue. What am I missing here?
Only until October 20th though, and if you're already locked into your Verizon contract it's could get complicated. My contract isn't up until Feb 2015 so we'll see what's what then, but I'm fully prepared to jump to the Moto X 2nd Gen from my beloved Droid Razr M.
:)
Using the Nova Launcher app and a couple days ago it stopped showing the weather: all it shows now is question marks where the displayed temperature should be. I switched back to the stock launcher and the weather works fine... any ideas?

Did a search in this forum but no hits, if this has already been queried please feel free to redirect!
I know that Android 4.2 isn't actually the Key Lime Pie upgrade, but my Razr M is currently maxed out update-wise at Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean. No complaints here, but are we going to see an...
Addendum to my earlier post about screen being shattered and not having insurance, please see pic. The frame is dented and bent at the point of impact and while the display is useless, I can't tell if simply buying a new glass and top half of frame online would render my phone good as new. Any...
I just shattered the glass on my Razr M (a ceramic mug fell off a shelf and landed on the phone) and I do not have insurance and therefore can't get an easily affordable replacement. I called Verizon to see what my options were and the CSR said that one thing I might want to consider is getting...
Been hearing about issues with Jelly Bean, still on the fence about making the jump... has anyone decided to stay with Ice Cream Sandwich for the time being and/or regretted updating to Jelly Bean?
Got my Razr M (black finish) on Monday and have been marveling at it's awesomeness and treating it with kid gloves until I could find a case that fit my aesthetic, but yesterday I fumbled it and dropped it on my glass top desk and was awarded a nice little nick on the left side of the phone...
Been going around and around with this on my Razr M... regular LauncherPro works fine, but after I upgrade to Plus it continuously gives me the old "Unfortunately, LauncherPro has stopped" error message. Am I the only one?
:(
Okay, not sure what's going on here and if I'm lucky some of you have had/are having the same experience.
I tend to leave my Eris on all night (plugged into the charger) and this morning when I picked it up I noticed that there were two new shortcut icons on my lockscreen. They weren't there...
Wondering if anyone knows how to create your own Beautiful Widgets skins? I found a skin developers kit online but there's no real tutorial or anything... I figure with all the creative geniuses we got running around in here, someone might have some good info on how to go about it, or even other...
Anyone know of any apps that will allow a parent to set a content filter on the Eris so a kid can't access adult themed websites (porn etc)? The subject came up at work and it sounded like something worth looking in to, but the best I could find was a content filter service from Verizon (for...
Ah, technology. We can split the atom and create microscopic sentient robotic machines, but Google Voice still can't quite grasp the subtle nuances of the human voice. To that end, I offer this example from a voicemail my brother left me the other day. The following text is an exact copy/paste...
Has anyone found any good call blockers to prevent unknown callers from junking up your voicemail? I've heard about GBlock and aFirewall but they're not complete solutions... looking for something that shuts down an unwanted caller with NO voicemail option.
Even better - an app where you put...
Recently had a go-round with NayT&T about "past due billing" or some such nonsense and they had the nerve to pull the plug on our land line. It was then that I realized that all we really used it for was to buzz people into our apartment complex and field the occasional call from family members...
Saw that hilarious infomercial for the Jupiter Jack (hands free talkies while you drive! oh hai!) and got to wondering if I could use it to listen to Pandora or mp3's on my Eris in the car. Seems pretty hit and miss (one reviewer said it didn't work for his Droid, not sure if he meant the Moto...
Just noticed this over the past day or so... most times when I'm not near a WiFi source, my 3G kicks in but on occasion it suddenly cuts down to 1X. What causes this and are there any settings that I may want to consider to keep my speed up (without compromising battery power of course)?
Had the phone powered on, fumbled it into a sink full of water (clean, no detergent or anything) and immediately fished it out. It still worked (had a YouTube video playing at the time) so I took it apart to dry everything out and put it back together. Not knowing any better, I tried to power it...
Can't seem to figure this one out, and there doesn't seem to be a specific answer to this in similar threads... sorry if I missed it!
Basically I have a couple devices showing in my bluetooth list that I no longer own and would like to delete them from that list. Is there a simple way to do it...
