    Help CWM Backup and Restore problems

    When I made a backup of my cm7 ROM and tried to restore it, my phone freezes on boot splash screen(05212011 one). And when restoring stock ROM, it freezes at android screen, and reboots into recovery mode. I noticed that backups from other phones work fine. And I'm trying to upgrade to 062412011...

    Root Cyanogenmod 7: Clockwork Recovery 3.0.0.5 Downgrading HELP.

    I would like to flash to Icarus mod, just to try it. And when I try this using clockwork recovery, it says that I need to update edify. Tried flashing recovery to amon-ra using volume up + end + power, but it says Update Failed. Anyone know a way to downgrade clockwork recovery to 2.5 or Amon-Ra?
