    Root stuck in evo bootloader

    i was trying to get the gingerbread 2.3 update, it would get 1/3 of way installing and stop. so i tried a few different things i read that people tried, nothing worked. so i tried to update the zip file and i think i erased what tells the phone how to boot properly, is there anything i can do?
