    Root Will rooting possible help with reception

    im a newbie. just got my dx2 about a week ago. had a d2 for a while. im afraid of rooting but i want to do it. im in a bad area where i get a very weak signal. is it possible that rooting will help me pull in a stronger signal or it had nothing to do with the antenna? thanx for your help in advance
