    Root How do I take full advantage of CyanogenMod 7?

    I really don't understand why this rom is so popular. It has a terrible UI, and I can't figure out how to change it to my liking. Am I missing something? Do kernels improve customization or something? How do I get/flash kernels? Sorry for all the stupid questions, I'm pretty new to this.

    Root How do you "reload" a rom?

    its really annoying to have to reformat everything whenever I want to switch ROMS. I usually use gingersense, so I'm hesitant to restore it from rom manager (an installation from the H Boot menu is needed). how do I "reload" a rom from the Hboot menu?

    Cyanogen ROM problems

    I installed this Rom and did the backup/cache clear thing. It launched, but is at the loading screen where the little droid on the skateboard is in the center. Its been at this screen,not frozen (the arrow is still spinning). Is this normal? Should I just take out the battery and restart?

    I downloaded it from the rom manager, and did the backup and everything. The ROM started and has been loading for about 10 minutes. The little droid will skate buy but it will just resume loading. Is this normal?

    Root Can you root on a mac?

    I noticed that there were few root instructions if any for Incredible users with Macs. Can someone link me to a detailed description on how to root the incredible with a mac? What should I do that is different from windows?
