    deleting apps optimus V

    i have downloaded some apps that i don't like. i would like to delete them. i have tried holding them down 'til they vibrate and dragging them to the trash can, but that does not seem to work. can someone please tell me what i am doing wrong. Thanks

    notifications

    would appreciate help. I would like to turn e-mail notifications OFF and leave text message notifications ON. is that possible on Optimus V? Thanks
