    I've heard it's better to flash a kernel over the ROM with the stock kernel. So after you first flash a rom, nandroid with the stock kernel. Then after flashing a new kernel, you should restore the original nandroid with the stock kernel before you flash another kernel rather than just flashing...

    Root Reflash ROM over same ROM - what happens to the kernel

    I'm using classic v0. 9 with the underworld 0.5 sbc kernel. Have had a few random reboots (one per day). I'm thinking it's the kernel. If I reflash the same ROM after wiping cache and dalvik cache, does that replace the underworld kernel with the kernel that comes with the Classic v0. 9 rom?
