Am I the only one who loves Sense too much...

...To give it up for Vanilla Android 2.2? I've tried AOSP and CM6, both are good. I've used Launcher Pro, and it was cool and has some nifty widgets. CLOSE, but not quite as...sleek. And Froyo is faster with JIT enabled, sure but honestly I didn't notice THAT big a real-world difference between...

    Gave AOSP a try and...

*sigh* Sure, it was smooth as butter. And yes, there was zero lag while typing and dialing. And the benchmark figures were definitely better (my device, running better than the Droid? Sweet). Froyo is indeed better from a hardware optimization standpoint. However... I just can't give up...

They need to tailor the market better

It'd be great if you could input your device model, and only those apps (particularly games) that can capably run on the device should be displayed. I know, there's tens of thousands of apps that would have to be classified, so I'm not holding my breath. But it would be great, so I'm not being...

Help "Unable to scan for networks"

I get this message when I turn on WiFi and it attempts to find my home network, only to give me that message. Now, on occasion it finds my network just fine, and it takes no time at all. But when it was "unable to scan for networks", I turned WiFi on my wife's Moment, and it detected it just...

Help No internet while making phone calls?

So I'm at work (I'm in the Army), and someone who recently got a Droid was asking about not being able to browse the web while in the middle of a phone call. Someone else who had an iPhone said they could do this. But the person with the Droid tested it, made a phone call and was not able to...

Where are all the big name publishers/titles?

Kinda sick of all the knock-off versions of the same damn games. Where are the liscensed franchises and big name IP's? The iPhone has plenty. Hell, even Java-based phones had a better selection of quality games. The Android market has alot of either crap or games that are trying too hard to show...

Help Physical keys make crackly sound

....from underneath? The keys work fine, but certain ones make a clicky or crackly sound (typically after not been used for a moment, then they're fine after being pushed). There is also a strange feeling to them to go along with the sound. Anyone else experience this?
