    How do I identify my CPU?

    I bought a Flytouch which is supposed to have a Cortex A8 processor but a system utility shows: Manufacturer: VIMRICO Processor: ARMv7 Processor rev 2 (v71) Frequency range 400-1000 MHz Hardware: Vimicro Vortex board Is that correct or should it show Cortex somewhere? It seems a bit slow.
